Robert Bewley is a landscape archaeologist with a particular interest in prehistory, as well as an author and photographer who holds private pilot licences in the UK and Jordan where he practices aerial archaeology. Robert is currently Director of Operations at the Heritage Lottery Fund. He has previously held positions as Regional Director (South West) for English Heritage and Head of Aerial Survey at English Heritage. His is also currently Honorary Visiting Professor at the Institute of Archaeology, UCL, and Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia, Perth.
